Family sessions are a blast. I enjoy getting to know families through photography, making it an experience for them and for me. I offer 3 options; a mini session, a walk in the park session, and a lighted backyard session.
Sessions
I like to keep it simple for my clients when it comes to what I offer. Pick a mini session if you’re looking for something fun and quick, or choose from two different experiences that finish with fine prints ready to be framed.
Mini Session
The perfect session if you’re just looking for a few great natural candids and family portraits.

I travel to any park within 15 miles of Black Mountain, NC free of charge.

Enough time for me to snap 150 plus frames to choose the best from.

I leave the flashes off and we select a time between early afternoon and sunset for the best light.

I pick through for the finest shots and deliver 20 final shots in high resolution with no watermark.

You receive your photos in 3 days, via a custom URL to a beautiful and easy to use online gallery.

You get a dedicated print studio as well when you hire me as your photographer. When you’re ready for some wall art I offer prices that are way more competitive than most photographers since I have no middle man taking a piece.

Walk in the Park
If you’re like me you know photography is always better in print. This session is will decorate your walls and leave you with plenty of great shots for a photobook.

I travel to any park within 25 miles of Black Mountain, NC free of charge.

I don’t put a hard cap on these sessions so we aim for 60 minutes, and if you want to go longer or shorter I deliver either way and the price remains.

With 60 minutes we have time to play, have a ton of fun, so we capture candids and portraits while we explore. It’s super easy and relaxing.

I shoot with the intension of telling a beautiful little story of a family enjoying life in the park with each other. I don’t set a hard number for final images but at least 60 and usually more than 75.

I deliver a final gallery in a week, but you get a few shots the next day to enjoy and share with your family.

Fresh out of my print studio I include your choice of print packages that consist of either many smaller prints or fewer larger prints. All prints will be individually wrapped and supported, ready for framing or to mail to your family.

Backyard Portraits
Maybe it’s a holiday card or you just prefer that classic family portrait, this experience puts studio lighting to work in an outdoor environment right at home.

I travel to your home anywhere within 25 miles of Black Mountain, NC free of charge.

Being a lighted session this is more portrait focused so I allocate extra time for lighting adjustments and poses.

Sometimes it’s as simple as one giant soft box but I always bring my whole kit just incase I need to execute a few tricks for best light or just to be a bit more artistic.

Each shot gets the extra mile in Photoshop, correcting temporary blemishes and any distractions including fly away hairs.

I send you one image the day after and the final gallery a week later.

Have an event coming up?
A lot of my clients book a family session together with event coverage, on two separate days, and save a nice chunk while getting more prints.
